Emerald Resort & Casino - Vanderbijlpark

The spacious layout of the room provided ample privacy, allowing me to unwind comfortably. It was impressively clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant atmosphere. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants, which added to the overall experience.

One minor drawback was the limited kitchen utensils available for cooking. While I managed just fine, a few additional items would have enhanced my culinary experience during the stay.

Hip new hotel with efficient and competent staff to that staff member. Unbeatable and amazing location in Vanderbijlpark, close to TO THE CASINO, mini market, pool, casino and lot of entertainment and the beautiful banks of The Vaal River.

the twin room was good-sized and brand-new, with coffee, a balcony, and a kitchenette area. the location was perfect and magnificent for me, in the centre of the camping area.

Wow, what a romantic escape! The chalet we stayed in was perfect-super cozy with lovely views and animals wandering around, which added to the charm. We loved how convenient it was, with a shuttle running 24/7 to get us to the casino and hotel.

We did face a hiccup with the pool being a bit far from our chalet. It would’ve been nice to have more pools nearby. we had a small issue with the TV and Wi-Fi, but the staff tried their best to assist. a lovely stay!

Good overall experience. Everything was perfect with spotless rooms. Location close to zoo and the casino and AQUADOME. Also, to the fun activities that the resort offers🙂

Liked our rooms in the shower in the main bedroom. A microwave, an electric kettle and a refrigerator were in the lodge. Our accommodation was set in a central location very close to the aquadome, hill, zoo. It also was to the fun activities that the resort offers.

the chalet was filthy, with torn curtains and a dirty floor. Plus, the aircon didn't work and we were swarmed by flies. The lack of basic amenities made it unbearable. Totally not worth it!

The activities were great, especially the aquadome and the boat cruise. My stay was so great and it was a getaway from the busy city life.

the food options were limited overall.

The outdoor braai/bbq area, complete with a table and seating, was a good spot for relaxation. Although I noticed the tiles could use some updating, the overall tidiness of the room enhanced my experience despite a few initial minor cleaning oversights upon arrival.

One slight drawback was that the room wasn't ready by noon as expected, which caused a minor inconvenience. Nonetheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall enjoyment of the stay.

A tranquil retreat just under an hour from Gauteng, Emerald Resort & Casino captivated me and my 9-year-old son. With numerous family-friendly activities, a stunning landscape, and excellent service, we enjoyed our stay. The spa and wellness amenities enhanced our relaxation, while nearby attractions like the Aquadome and Animal World made for nice family outings. We look forward to returning soon!

I loved the shuttle service and spa facilities! 😍 But the rooms felt outdated and our toilet didn’t flush properly. prepare for a drive if checking in after dark.

Would recommend for a fleeting stay

Comfortable bed, clean environment, the efficient shuttle service made travel around the resort easy and enjoyable, while the outdoor swimming pool provided a refreshing break after a day of exploring.

It was just a proper fit for resting at all in Vanderbijlpark with decent value for money. I really enjoyed the lazy Sunday lunch cruise on the Vall, a pleasant surprise. Make sure to check out the Aquadome for some fun activities.
